Port Harcourt Blast

The social media, and Nigeria in general, went haywire with rumors of a bomb explosion somewhere in Rumuokoro, Port-Harcourt, earlier in the morning.

It was later confirmed by the Governor of the state, Rotimi Amechi, who went live on Cool Fm, Port-Harcourt. He however dispelled the rumors about it being a Boko-Haram suicide bomber explosion, but rather the explosion happened when some dynamite being transported by unknown robbers in a commercial bus, exploded, leaving the driver of the bus dead, and others wounded. The robbers were said to have been on the way to a robbery operation.

Did I hear you say 'good for them'? Oh well.

She began her singing in the church, went on to become a disco singer, and ironically, ended back in the church. She eventually became a born-again Christian sometime in the mid 1980's around when she was cited by some media prints as making anti-gay remarks concerning AIDS.
